The 2020 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships was held in the Czech Republic, December 26, 2019 to January 5, 2020.
In the gold medal game, Canada came back from a 3 – 1 deficit in the third period to defeat Russia by a score of 4 – 3. With this win, Canada earned its 18th World Junior Ice Hockey Championship title. Sweden beat Finland 3 – 2 to earn a bronze medal in the tournament.
